The term “No Coast” is a nod to my homestate of North Dakota, a state that is completely landlocked and devoid of any coasts - be they from either of the oceans, the Gulf, or any of the five Great Lakes. Growing up in North Dakota, you get used to the landscape being defined by the occasional hill or butte, the inspiration behind No Coast.
